We spent 3 nights at Sand River in February and despite the restriction of COVID, we were able to enjoy the full experience and felt very safe throughout our stay! The staff were incredible and everyone took amazing care of us. The accommodation was 1st class, the food was amazing and the Game Drives exceeded our expectations!. Shoutout to the head guide Joel who showed us all the wonders of the Masai Mara. We are already planning our next trip to Sand River and would highly recommend this to anyone looking to experience a true Safari out in the wild!

We just got home to the US from a belated honeymoon to the Masai Mara. Our first stop was at Sand River and we were blown away from the minute we arrived. The game drives, food, tents are all amazing, but what really stood out to us was the staff. They go above and beyond in every way. Special shout out to our wonderful guide, Joel, Dennis, Moses, Thorburn, Maurice, and the chef Shaban. Really everyone at the camp. We will be counting down the days until we can return! Picked up from the airport and a great ride to the camp. Luxurious place hence glamping. The washroom had a rug!
Lovely rooms-sorry tents. Thoughtful welcoming gift of sanitizers, mask and water bottles.
Meals were delicious and game rides were guided by expert guide. Highlight was seeing lionesses with Cubs.

This is definitely one of the best camps I have been to in the Masaai Mara! From the time we checked in to when we checked out, I really couldn't fault them on anything. The managers, all the staff as were simply outstanding in everything that they do. Accommodation, food and ambience is magical. Such warm and welcoming hospitality and service is rare and truly refreshing. I will definitely come back and keep that high standard across the board going.
