You would be an idiot not to visit this particular camp, expensive but don't forget this is a once in a life time experience, forget being frugal there.... Some words of wisdom, the Masai are a very unpleasant tribe, their only god is money.......
Do not give them the pleasure of even giving them a dime, truly their not worth it. If you are not an animal lover forget going, otherwise tempo kichwa is paradise .

"I felt like I had stepped onto the set of Out of Africa — all the glamour and style of vintage Africa, combined with modern day comforts. Most memorable moment was the excitement of anticipating what animals we were going to see on our morning game drive as I woke up to the sound of birds and monkeys and the butler bringing me an elegant tray of coffee and biscuits. Great for imagining the heyday of the African explorers - magical.”

Having lived and travelled in Africa most of my life, this place surpases all dreams and expectations. It was our honeymoon and I can't imagine what more they could have done to make our stay more beautiful. Luke, Abraham, Meshak......ALL of them....and our waiter, William, who had a tear as we departed. I will return more than once I'm sure, to again indulge in the amazing food, the friendliness and the beauty of the surroundings. There is not a single thing overlooked here !

Fabulous would be an understatement. From the moment we were greeted at the airstrip with a champagne reception, we knew we were in for a very special stay. Milka, the manager, introduced us to Ibrahim, who would be our butler during our stay. Every morning, our wake up call came with coffee, tea, and cookies to the tent.

One night after a game drive, we came into our tent and found rose petals everywhere and a dinner table set up with china, crystal, the whole nine yards. It was dinner for 2 in celebration of our 30th anniversary. After dinner, the staff came with a cake to sing for us. Very special indeed!

Speaking of meals, the chef came to us every day and went over the menu...very important since I have a lot of food allergies. I was taken care of and felt very safe about the food. And the outdoor dining area is beautiful. The game drive literally came to us. A Maasai warrior stands there to discourage the monkeys from disturbing diners.

Our guide Charity was fantastic.. She went out of her way to make sure we saw everything. The last night was a special treat with dinner in the bush and a Maasai warrior show.

Not inexpensive, but for us, we knew it was a "once in a lifetime" stay for our anniversary and it was worth every single penny.

Experiance comfort and luxury at it's best in the bush. What an amazing bush retreat, fantastic staff who are attentive and professional; whilst not being aloof. food is unbeliveable (especially if you consider the lodge location) and delivers the true taste of East Africa.

After out thrid trip, I still would not Hesitate to spend another week at this home from home

Room Tip: All rooms have great views over the Masai Mara and are discrelty hidden in the bush for privacy.
