Beautiful, relaxing and amazing in the photographic safaris. The camp is in the middle of a beautiful forest where you can "touch" the Mara river and 1 minute walking from the sabana. All rooms are tents with a wonderful bed and private bathroom. Very comfortable and with all facilities. Raoul and Cristina (the owners) are really nice and they will make you feel like being at home.
All people working there are masai people. They are very nice, efficient and really interesting. For sure that you will learn many things and have much fun chatting with them.
In Masai Mara during the daily photographic safaris we found hundreds of animals of many species. People from this camp really know the land and they take you to the most interesting places and animals. The good thing in this Masai Mara area/national park is that there are very few cars/vans in the sabana. Some days our car was the only one hanging around there…
I recommend this camp to everybody who wants to experience the real African experience without giving up the occidental comfort.

Maasai Mara has always been the ever dream of wildlife lovers and anthropologists. Our stay at the Enkerende TC has been a dream come true when Raul and the Masaais daily customized our safaris to explore the animal life during the Great Migration. We asked to spend quality time with the Big Five. What could have been a very tough requirement to our Masaais guides was fully achieved. Allow me to invite you to imagine relaxed days immersed in the daily life of The Mara ecosystem. We, travelers, looked for the truth away from the tourists packs. We dreamt of spending hours with the wildlife, share quality days with the Maasais, the Mamas and the Manyattas. Amazingly we achieved all this thanks to the Maasais' knowledge on the ecosystem and the true warm welcome and dedication to "the Enkerende Experience" as I want to name it from the staff.
Raul and Cristina have brought us a vision in Maasai Mara that few share anymore unfortunately. They are convinced wonders of Mara can be shared with a minimum visitors' impact to the ecosystem. The camp is built and managed that way with no impact to comfort and feel of exclusivity. They are committed to help the community and return part of the joy the community shares daily with them.

This is a luxury eco safari camp where you will enjoy a level of service, remoteness and tranquility rarely found anywhere else on the planet. Home of the world's most admirable animals, Enkerende offers what many claim to be the "best safari experience in the world." Enkerende is without equal in noble hospitality and experiences that build new traditions and memories that last a lifetime.

Definitely, details are needed in Tripadvisor. Let me share some differentiating details:
- Amazingly we enjoyed every breakfast/lunch or dinner in a different place around the Camp. The area allowed unforgettable locations served as if the lunch tables would have never been there. After the meal, the whole set was removed and area was left exactly as if meal would never been.
- One morning at 6:30am we heard lions attacking a prey not far from the Camp. The staff came to pick us up in the tents and still in pajamas we took the jeep to encounter the amazing ongoing scene.
- Leopard became the most elusive of the make our Big Five. We modified a full day agenda to look for the areas where they hunt. We finally found him and his prey on the tree. Silently for no interference we Longley enjoyed the unique moment.

Room Tip: Chose a tent with Mara River view...unforgetable
