We have recently returned from our 9 day safari with East Africa safaris. It was a memorable experience. Thanks to Fred and his company, we lived our child dream during few days. We saw the big five and all the others animals that you can see in a safari. We stayed in very nice accomodations. The trip was very well organized, Fred was very helpful and professional.
I really recommend this company for a safari in Kenya. It was the best trip of our life time!

Like many others on here we contacted East Africa Adventures after reading other reviews on this website. First of all Fred was great in helping us put together the tour that was right for us. In the end we decided for a four night private tour, staying 1 night near Lake Nakuru and 3 nights in the Masai Mara. Fred offered us a fantastic price, far cheaper than what companies in the UK had quoted us previously. We had to send Fred half of our tour price as a deposit. It was a little daunting, but Fred was so prompt with emails and has a great reputation so that made us feel a lot easier about doing this. After arriving in Nairobi, we were met at our hotel by our guide Toni and we paid the balance of our tour to him. Toni was a great guide and helped us to see the 'big 5' within our first two game drives. Nothing was a problem for him, he ensured we saw all kinds of animals, and he was great company for our 5 days with him. Overall, East Africa offered a brilliant service and I would recommend them to anybody!

After seeing East Africa Adventures great ratings on Tripadvisor, we checked it out. Working with Fred to design our perfect adventure. We started with the 7 day Kenya/Tanzania safari, however we added 2 additional nights at the beach in Mombassa. After consulting Trip Advisor we agreed to change a couple of the lodging options.
We were picked up at our hotel (Hilton) in Nairobi by Sammy and Kizito, our guide and guide in training. and soon we were on the way to Maasai Mara. Our first two nights were at the Ashnil Mara Camp. great accommodations, great service and food. Our first game drive resulted in seeing 3 of the big 5. Sammy and Kizito did a great job explaining the process and helping us understand the environment and the game we observed. When we wanted more time for pictures, there was never a hesitation. ONE big advantage, it was only my wife and I in the vehicle with our guides. as we looked at other companies, we would see 6-7 persons per land cruiser. East African Adventures gave us the opportunity to have the space and freedom with only the two of us in the vehicles. The next two days in Maasai Mara proved to be phenomenal. We observed two crossings, and many more animals.
We then drove to Lake Nakuru, since the lake is flooded, the number of flamingos has reduced dramatically, however Sammy and Kizito found both Black and White Rhino's in additional to many other animals and birds. The Flamingo Tented Camp was great, A bit more rustic than the previous camp, it was clean, comfortable and again great customer service. We did have some vehicle problems which Sammy worked hard and got us back on the road. After our morning game drive we drove back through Nairobi on the way to Amboseli Park where we stayed at the Kibo Safari Camp. This was also a bit more rustic, however it was clean, good food, evening fire with the Maasai tribe dancing for us, and great customer service. Our drive through Amboseli park had more elephants than we had seen earlier, We were able to get pictures of charging elephants with Mt Kilimanjaro in the background.

We crossed into Tanzania and went to the Lake Manyara park and stayed at the NSYA camp. They are trying really hard to make it great, it just needs a little more attention than the others. While in Tanzania, we had Sabo as our guide. after our morning game drive we went to the Ngorongoro Crater and stayed at the Rhino Lodge. I RATE #1. This camp has the guides eat with you so you have a real chance to spend time and socialize. The crater was fabulous, lions within meters of the vehicles. thousands of flamingos. The drive back to Arusha and spent the night at the Impala Hotel, this was our least favorite of the trip. however it was clean and provided good beds.
The next day we drove back to Kenya and on to Mombassa, The Serena Beach Resort Hotel was a great way to end the vacation. Rooms were great, Service was impeccable and food was great.
I cant say enough positive things about East Africa Adventures, the initial planning, the guides and the overall service.

After scouring the web we decided on East Africa Tours - WONDERFUL - says it all. We had a superb experience with them and thoroughly enjoyed the trip. 1 Night at Lake Nakuru and 2 Nights at Masai Mara were a heady experience. Lake Nakuru Tented resort was mesmerizing and exemplary in service and amazing cuisine. At Masai Mara we were put up at Al Moran Tented Camp - which was not comparable at all to the experience of Lake Nakuru Tented Camp, especially on the cuisine and service aspect. The food was mediocre and not enjoyable. The accommodation was nice. This slight low was quickly forgotten with the superb experience to follow with our driver Sammy - a dream driver to have along - full of song and wit and expertise - we had ahead of all other groups already bagged the BIg Five in 2 game drives. We were also indeed thrilled to experience the Migration experience itself TWICE - thanks to Sammy and his uncanny ways of understanding what will happen next and where. Once again thanks to Fred and Team East Africa Tours - A memorable experience.

My husband and I spent a lot of time researching and planning our Kenyan safari. In fact, we were in touch with several different safari companies, when we decided to go with East Africa Safari because of their ability to accommodate our itinerary requests and because, quite frankly, they offered us the cheapest quote. As it turned out, we were in very good hands. Our driver, Leonard, led us through our two week stay which took us from Nairobi, Amboselli, Mombasa, Nakuru, and finally Masai Mara.it was everything we hoped for, and more. We fulfilled our animal sighting wish list and took in much of the culture of Kenya. Leonard was a fantastic guide, who obviously loved his country's landscape and wildlife. He was flexible in customizing our safari trips, and yet offered helpful suggestions in terms of timing and places to go. He was was extremely knowledgable about all of he animals we saw and was gifted, or connected, or both, when it came to finding the animals out on safari rides. Even when we ere traveling from place to place throughout the country, as we often were, Leonard was great about steering us in the right direction about where to stop and pick up items that we wanted or needed. All in all, Leonard was very easy to be with and helped make our honeymoon trip easy and memorable. Just one more thing, kudos to East Africa Safari for taking note that we were on our honeymoon. We really appreciated some of the special touches along the way!
