We spent 7 days in Enkewa Mara Camp. It was an amazing experience. The campsite location and design allowed us to feel completely immersed in the surrounding wilderness and at the same time find peace and rest. Tents are better than the majority of hotel rooms I have stayed in big cities. The staff (all Masai people) were extremely friendly and eager to show their costumes as well as help with anything that we needed. The food was great not only at the camp but also the one offered during the safaris.
Scenery is stunning, and the masai trackers were incredible. We visited the Masai Mara when the the migration was almost over at the beginning of October but we managed to see the big five. During one of the safaris done at night time we saw a Caracal which was spectacular
We also visited a small village where one of the staff member lives and we got to see one of the typical houses as well as the local shool. The Enkewa camp and in particluar Jose, his manager colaborates with the community in several projects. In summary we felt really welcomed and this is one of those trips that we will repeat without a doubtMore
