We stayed here 2 nights. The tent was roomy and comfortable. The game drives were fantastic. So many beautiful animals. The staff was great! The food was good and the desserts were delightful. For example, we had "Lake Swan's" which were tasty eclairs shaped like swans. The camp is set in the woods and is beautiful. I felt safe and relaxed there. A great experience.

My most memorable event during my stay in this camp is when i forgot my smart phone in the restaurant. The friendly staff kept it for me, i was really greatful. Game drive was excellent, we saw all big Five!

Room Tip: Nature walk with the naturalist is something not to miss. Also children can indulge in the swimming...

It was my first time in africa, first time in Kenya and i did not know what to expect. I was really surprised with what i saw. Tha camp is a couple of minutes away from the park. It is covered by trees and bushes but the place is really quite beautiful. The new general manager was accomodating and staff was very helpful. The lobby provided guests with free wifi and the prepared food was good. The rooms were perfect. Great room, very spacious, very clean, safe and well maintained. The lay out was excellent. Great bathrooms. The camp provided guests with short traditional dances from the masai which i think can be further improved by adding some order in the presentation. I wasnt sure if it was their first time to perform but it did feel a little bit unorganized. It was still very entertaining and masai were very accomodating. Great once in a lifetime experience for me .

I have been traveling to Kenya for the last 4 out of 5 years and am so happy we had the chance to stay at this location. First of all the Staff... absolutely amazing, including the General Manager. Second of all the tents... so much fun to be sleeping in above ground tents that have all the amenities... you can hear the animals at night! Thirdly the location... right in the Masai Mara park so it is perfect for getting out there to see the animals! Fourthly the food... delish! When I go back next year I will be staying here again. I have been to 5 national park hotels and many other hotels in Kenya and this is by far the best. Has internet in lobby, a swimming pool, gift shop, and attractive bar with TV even. Tents are spacious with large bathroom area (2 sinks, shower and private toilet), our tent had 2 beds with mosquitos netting, a writing desk and good size storage area. It also featured a beautiful spacious patio with 2 chairs for us to sit out on at night. Staff was so incredible. One of the girls in our group was having a birthday and they brought us a cake and sang songs. One of the girls wasn't feeling well and they gave us hot water bottles each night for her, and checked up on her through out the day. Masai Warriors came and danced for us on the Friday night. We were also able to get gluten free food at this hotel, including pancakes made from maize instead of flour! I highly suggest this hotel.

This is a fab place to stay. Of our entire trip to Kenya the Mara Leisure camp was the best. The tent was very clean and far beyond any expectation we had. Food was very good with a decent variety. The beds very comfortable, Completely insect and mosquito proof !
They are no telephones / TV sets / WiFi in the tents. However, they provide WiFi free of cost, round the clock at the lobby.
We would recommend this for anyone travelling to Masai Mara as it is located very close to places of interest where you can see all sorts of animals and also you can reach the Mara River .

Located outside the Masai Mara reserve my stay at the Leisure camp was good. The tents were an interesting idea and provided both clean and comfortable accommodation. There was a variety of food and the hotel provided picnics when we took a full day trip to the reserve. Being located outside the reserve does add on to the journey time (more of a problem if you do multiple trips in a day) and I would take that in to consideration when returning. Overall it was an enjoyable stay for 2 nights.

This is a fabulous place to stay. Lovely ambiance. Living one with nature. Serene. Clean and beautifully maintained property. The best part is the staff- Martin, Ann & Patrick - made us feel completely at home. Infact they go out of their way to make sure everything you need is provided for. We booked this camp through 'Kenia Tours' at a discounted price.
The tents are large and extremely spacious with an ample wooden decked balcony. Completely insect and mosquito proof ! It can get a bit chilly night though. They are no telephones / TV sets / WiFi in the tents....that was the simply awesome. However, they provide WiFi free of cost, round the clock at the lobby.

Will definitely stay at Mara camp should we visit Kenya again !
Thank you Martin, Ann & Patrick.

Room Tip: No ATM's nearby.
