“Western style, comfortable place to take a break from busy Nairobi”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 2, 2013

It's a great oasis in a busy city. I had a bran muffin which was amazing and an iced coffee which was....not so amazing. Overall, it's super clean and a great place to go when you (you are an expat, aren't you?) need a "break" from the chaos of Nairobi.

“Real Kenyan Coffee”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

For the taste of the real freshly brewed Kenyan coffee go Java Coffee House.
You will really enjoy the coffee. Lovely cheese cakes, carrot cakes and even brownies. For a light meal try the green salads. Java coffee houses are located all over the city.
Good for relaxing and catching up. Prices are fair

“Good food for day-to-day meals, subs, salads”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 26, 2013

Great place to have a "safe" meal with no african surprises. There is really nothing superb in the food, but it is all very tastety. It is a great place for a salad, sandwich, coffee, tea, cookies, etc. Has free wifi and a good atmosphere.

“Good coffee stop in Nairobi”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 23, 2013

Good coffee stop in Nairobi, apart from great quality African coffee with lots of choice, they also serve tasty chai and milkshakes..
Free wifi and tasty snacks and pastries, often with outdoor seating, and frequented by the locals, stop off here for some good value refreshment

“Java Coffee”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 19, 2013

These Jave Houses are around every corner in Nairobi it seems. They are always good and the food is very consistent and at a decent price.
