“Good Services”

I booked for Lunch on 14-06-2014 at Carnivore Restaurant with my 4 friends, to our surprise, we were well received and found a table with 5 seats and the waiters ready to serve us. One thing i noted is that when you are done you need to surrender the flag down, otherwise they will continue bringing roasted meat to your table. Great services offered to us and we highly recommend this Restaurant.

“Go if you wanna eat croc meat and/ or Ox balls!”
Reviewed June 20, 2014

I decided we shd go try this place simply bec of the hype and novelty abt this giant BBQ restaurant. It was very well patronised. Meal price is KES 2550 per pax - eat till you drop! incl desert. I tried croc meat (found it heaty), Ox balls, and other regular meats like ostrich, turkey, lamb, beef. chicken, etc Also interesting is the concept of the flag upright to indicate you are continuing to eat and a removed flag when you had enough and the waiters aprons reminds you of zebras, walking around. Good for an experience.
pls note that there are no game meats served like in the past - be warned - you will not get zebra, giraffe or a lion to eat!!

“The Real Texas de Brazil”
Reviewed June 18, 2014

Upon our first night in Nairobi, our group of 12 safari travelers were treated to dinner here.

As we walked in, we were greeted warmly and passed by an open-air pit from which eminated the delicious aromas of so many roasted meats, I can't even begin to recall them all... lamb, chicken, beef, even crocodile.

You are given a flag which you can raise and the servers come along with long arrow-type skewers filled with meat (like they do at Texas de BrazIL). You can surrender by lowering your flag and raise it again if you want to continue your carnivorous feast. There were some African vegetables and other non-meat items served as well, and they were all plentiful and delicious.

There were cats that roamed around the area, but that didn't bother me as it just added to the whole fun experience. The drinks were delicious as well... and we especially enjoyed the house specialty they brought around which is a mojito sort of thing that was yummy but potent.. it had a stalk of sugar cane in it.

While we ate, a group of singers came to our table and sang the "Jambo": song, which I had learned in advance of our trip and happily sang along. So much fun!

Highly recommended

“You gotta try this !”
Reviewed June 17, 2014

Not if you're a vegetarian though ! I've been there several times for an uproarious evening with friends or colleagues. Always good. Giraffe neck steak, crocodile tail, kudu - anything that moves in the park is usually on the menu. Check it out !
