“Good for exotic meats”

Those who are meat lovers must go here and taste exotic meats like ostrich, crocodile or ox balls. Those who are vegetarian can have some things in ala carte however less choices for them . Expensive hotel with 28% taxes.

For US travelers familiar with Fogo de Chao this is nothing more than a glorified version of the Brazilian steakhouse here in the US. We had reservations and still had to wait an additional 30 min to get our table (the maitre d gave our table away to another group - don't even get me started on how that happened). Food was mediocre and the service the same. If you don't mind dining amongst the tour buses full of people coming and going through the restaurant then you won't mind this place. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother.

“Fun night out in Nairobi”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

This is a typical must-have tourist experience if you are visiting Nairobi. Carnivores is a fun night out with fabulous atmosphere, food & service. The all-you-can-eat meat buffet is great value although drinks is where your wallet will get stung!

“Overrated tourist trap”
Reviewed September 3, 2013

Don't bother with this place. It is an overrated tourist trap and overpriced to boot. The food was just barely marginal.
