“No more Game meat”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2013

It was a long time since I went to the carnivore, the place is still very pleasant, the service is good, quite noisy and very tourist oriented. Prices are very affordable, but now missing game meat except for the crocodile and the ostrich. A plae to visit if you are in Nairobi.

Unbelievably expensive for what you get, especially if you are a local! Great place to take visitors.. but only once!

Food is really good.. and drinks are nice BUT... Dawa is 600/-??? Its one or two shots of smirnoff vodka.. plus some sugar??

“Kind of kitchy”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

Concept is good but the food is overdone as it continues to cook over the open fire.
Staff very friendly.

“Tourist trap!”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2013

We paid $54US for a meal at this restaurant no drinks included and were sadly disappointed. The place as advertised had an open circular fiery BBQ that certainly was dramatic. Everything else about this restaurant was a joke. The waiters come from table to table offering to give you small. portions of BBQ meat which they slice off skewers at your table. I was imagining juicy steaks before we arrived but no...small slices of chicken, emu, small ribs of lamb that had were all bone. It was all meat, no vegetables or any other dishes except for a small bowl of soup that was offered at the beginning of the meal. I left feeling hungry and ripped off.
