This interesting restaurant has an open kitchen...all the meats are done on a huge BBQ and the list of meat options is posted near to the door as you enter. The tables are mostly out in the garden area but all are under a canvas cover.
The meats are accompanied by various vegetables and salads.
The meats are brought by servers on large skewers and pieces are shaved off onto one's plate as they wish. An interesting variety of sauces are offered to accompany the various meat options....pork, beef, poultry, crocodile, ostrich, lamb, etc. The meat keeps coming until you put down the flag! Then dessert, coffee & tea are offered.
It was a unique and delicious experience!

I have made several trips to the Masai Mara and Serengeti. One of the things I enjoyed most on these safaris was the Nyama Choma feast nightly at the various camps. The closest thing in Nairobi that I found was this wonderful place. A bit pricey by Kenyan standard but well worth it by tourist standard. Spend the change ... not much more than any other restaurant in Nairobi and you will leave satiated.

This is a MUST visit if you are in Kenya - great place, great atmosphere and you get more meat and with such variety that will leave you stumped. If you are a big eater this is the place for you and you can eat as much as you can. The meats, the drinks, the song and dance are all part of an unforgettable experience

I was here for a business dinner with a group. I thought the atmosphere was nice and it was fun to try the different kinds of meat but I did not think that the quality of the meat was that great. I think I would have rather opted for choosing a particular kind of meat and then having more time spent on its individual preparation. If you want to compare meats at the same meal, then this is the perfect opportunity for that since you can pick and choose from a wide variety. This is a meat lover's paradise. But I had had enough after the 3rd offering.
