Description: Haandi specialises in North Indian Frontier cuisine and true to the spirit of the original concept, the masalas are freshly-prepared daily, all the dishes are cooked to order and absolutely everything you eat is created on the premises. Our trademark glass fronted kitchens add an element of drama to each restaurant, allowing you, the diner, to watch the chefs as they create their own brand of magic. We have always insisted on the freshest, finest ingredients available and this policy has rewarded us with a reputation where quality is paramount and the satisfaction of you, the customer, always comes first. and of course the service is exemplary.

One of the older restaurants in the area but still great value with a huge regular clientele that speaks volumes for its enduring quality

“Some great great dishes here”
Reviewed February 7, 2014

The ambience here was quite nice. The tandoori chicken was exceptional, as were the butter paneer and rasmalai - all delicately nuanced in flavor. Carrot halwa and papadam were well above average. Portions could be a tad larger overall, but were just barely acceptable. The daal makanhi did not have the depth of flavor expected and the pista kulfi was not good at all. Wines and juices offered were quite nice. The reason I am giving this restaurant a 4 rating instead of a 5, is the rather slow and arrogant service by the waitstaff.

“Spices that you can taste”
Reviewed January 25, 2014

Exceptional Indian food in Kenya. Perhaps one of the very best.
There was a long wait to get a table in this popular Indian spot but well worth it.
The dishes on offer were simply out of this world and of a very high standard. You can certainly taste the spices in all the curry dishes even the very hot ones.
If you like Indian food this place will be globally ranked on your list of best of the best.
Try the spiced up chicken curry it will make you forget about the lack of atmosphere. The food here makes all the difference,
Don't miss out!
