There are some things so comfortable and familiar -- like your mother's cooking when you were a kid -- that you take them for granted. It's only when you have been deprived for a while, or something new gets your attention -- like the Pomodoro's new menu the other day -- that you realise you've been very lucky to have this great thing on your doorstep all along. It's like that with Lorenza and Fausto's place. We've been eating their delicious home-cooked food -- pizzas, pastas, the weekly buffet right from Lorenza's kitchen -- since 1994, and suddenly realised that I'd never given them a five-star nod on TA. So here it is: 20 years late, but no less deserved.
