The hotel overlooks Nairobi National Park so you get great views if the park and the Nairobi City skyline. Excellent buffet meal for 25 dollars except you gotta pay for drinks separately. Its close to the JKIA airport and few minutes from Nairobi National Park, Giraffe Center. There is an Imax theatre in the second floor with 3D movies.

Kenya Airways accommodated us at the Panari Hotel when they rescheduled a flight without notice and we missed our connection to Zanzibar. We spent a day here from 8.30am-4.30pm and I'd have to say it was absolutely fine. It is a massive complex that screams 1970 in its decor and furniture but the staff to a person were fantastic and the food at breakfast and lunch really good.

The hotel is about 12 floors and includes a cinema, large pool and spa complex, ice skating rink and about 6 eating places. It overlooks a massive National Park but is located on an incredibly busy and noisy main road that leads to Mombasa and the Nairobi airport. The view of the national park from my room looked like a Mars landscape.

If I was transiting in Nairobi this hotel would probably be a good choice. It is far away from the city centre so not good if you are sightseeing in Nairobi. From what I've seen, Nairobi is ghastly and the chronic traffic jams are genendary so staying close to the airport when in transit would be wise.

Despite the flight delays staying at the Panari Hotel was a pleasant experience.

Room Tip: Ask for a view of the National Park

My stay in Nairobi is for business so I need sanctuary at the end of the day. The staff at this hotel could not be better. I have encountered many lovely and helpful people here. Bernard, the guest coordinator is friendly and listens to any of your needs. Requests are performed straight away without question. The hotel is safe, with exterior guards, who are also very friendly and give you a warm welcome. The hotel could do with a little updating, but otherwise very clean and comfortable. I would stay at the Panari anytime.

Thank you Satya for the great review and positive rating of our facilities. Indeed our location just a few minutes drive from Jomo Kenyatta International Airport and Central Business District offers an ideal hub for both business and leisure.. We also have our dream theatre, located on the second floor where you have access to banking, shopping and the only ice rink in East and Central Africa. Karibu tena!

Not too far from airport, on the highway, really expensive considering the quality. The room had pretty dreadful views. The bathroom was not very clean. The bed was big and comfortable. People at reception were not very attentive or friendly. In general we felt the place lack charm.
