The museum is a little off the beaten track but worth the visit. A must is the informative talk from the curator at the beginning of your visit, it is not only incredibly interesting but it helps to understand what many of the items in the museum are about. It was enlightening to know the 'Lunatic Line' was being built not to see Kenya but to try to get to Uganda!!! Outside are old trains you can look at as well. For train buffs like our friend this is a must for the rest of us it was very interesting indeed.

Its a Nice place to visit , if you love history . informative Guides that you can hire so cheaply . Nice old days locomotives which you wont find in service today, to take your pic with. We went in with one of our visiting friends and liked being there.

I went to the Railway museum with my uncle, sister and two friends.
I found it interesting learning about the history, former presidents in East-Africa and working conditions for those who where building the railway line.

We went inside the old trains, and took pictures of the old equiments, chairs and so on.
For those who like learning about history and/or like trains this is the place for you!
