This visit of a bit over 1 hour was well worth the time and admission. I think the education portion is well worth the time spent also.

It's fun to hand feed the giraffes or even let them kiss you when they take food from your lips. There are also warthogs up close.

The girafes are trained/accustomed to sticking their face near people and sticking out their tongues to take food pellets from them. Very touristy. You will see many giraffes in the wild and can see more natural eating.

Quite small but really worth the relatively low price of entry.

Hand feed the giraffes from a raised platform - so you're at the same height as the giraffes' heads - whilst listening to the staff explain the nature of each giraffe.

Nice shop with good range of animal-themed products. Good little cafe too.

You don't need very long here, so also visit nearby Elephant Orpahange and Karen Blixen Museum (she wrote Out of Africa and other books).

We were fortunate and eventually had 4 giraffe come up to feed. Ed "the kisser" (which we did NOT try), Daisy, Helen, and Sadie. We had arrived early (practically upon their opening) in the day and thus were some 15 minutes ahead of the first large party to arrive - which ended up giving us time feeding giraffe at the railing without jostling for a turn. The admission was 1000 shilling but I bet this is cheaper than the few US zoos that offer this. There is a presentation about giraffe that was very informative; the lecturer passed around bones to touch and hold. The gift shop looked very inviting. Admittedly, it must be a matter of luck as to whether and how many giraffe come over to eat pellets. Two warthogs kept circling back into the feeding area from the adjacent bush, looking for dropped pellets.
