After seeing giraffe's in the wild, this Giraffe Center was a let down. They have some giraffes that will come eat out of your hand, but it is more or less a zoo. For what you get, it was expensive. (1000 KSH). $12.50

Touristic attraction but nice for the kids. Our almost 2 year old was able to feed the giraffes from his hand. He liked it a lot.

Downside is the discriminative pricing. Resident adults pay 5 times less than non residents and resident children pay 10 times less than non resident children.

Daisy was the only giraffe interested in being fed the morning we were there but she loved to eat. Daisy is very pretty- except for her long sticky tongue. There was also a wart hog eating up the pellets Daisy missed. I think it is probably best to arrive early in morning because then they still have giraffe who are hungry and the school tours haven't started yet. There was. Nice gift shop on site.

Get up and personal with giraffes as they come to to be fed. Touch them as they take pellets of food (part of entry fee) from you. They will lick you with their big long tongues. The presentation on giraffes provides information about the giraffes that live throughout Kenya. There is also a nature walk. Fun for all ages.
