Yes, this is the place where you can kiss a Giraffe (if that fancy you). Good to know that there is at least one place where Giraffes are being taken care of and this will ensure my younger generation has a good chance to show them to their progeny too.

This is such a unique and wonderful experience. You can feed, pet, and kiss (with a food pellet in your mouth) these beautiful animals for as long as you want! And if you're shy, its still a great photo opportunity. Most people come here after seeing the orphaned elephants so go in the morning if you want to avoid a crowd. One of my favorite experiences in Africa so far!

The giraffe centre was far smaller than I imagined it would be, it basically consisted of a raised viewing area. That's it, other than the obligatory gift shop and cafe. The keepers worked very hard to try and coax some giraffes over to the viewing area and one eventually came although it didn't stay long as there were 30 - 40 people feeding it and the poor thing could only eat so much! Not much else to say. If you turn up and pay 1000 shillings to get in, it might not be too bad, but having paid a fortune through a tour company for a half day excursion, we were in and out within an hour and that included sitting down for half an hour, having a coffee, trying to stretch the experience out as long as possible. All in all, very mediocre attraction but I did enjoy seeing the one giraffe who was sociable that day.

Mark this one down as an excellent stopover on a broader tour. It's well-designed to permit visitors to safely and intimately engage these magnificent beasts.

Eager wildlife photographers will get any number of close-up views - especially on the elevated deck - as the animals amble up to pick pellets from the hands (and sometimes, lips) of giggling guests. Finding excellent angles requires a bit of creativity and patience because every view is invariably intruded upon by another wave of eager snapshooters.

Even after one peruses the informative displays, there isn't much else to engage a visitor for much more than 30 to 45 minutes. On the day we visited, the drive from our city centre hotel took much longer than our stay at the park because of the traffic congestion precipitated by construction along Langata Road.

Well worth the price of admission but don't plan on staying her for long.

We visited the Giraffe Center the afternoon of the night we flew home. It was a nice place for a brief visit. You get to feed the giraffes out of your hand. Not to take a away from this facility, but after seeing dozens and dozens of giraffes in the wild, this was anti-climatic. I would recommended it if you have some time to kill or are just visiting Nairobi without a safari.
