How often have you had the opportunity to feed a giraffe and have her wrap her 28 inch tongue around your arm up to your elbow....you can do that here....a breeding farm for the endangered species of giraffe you can stay as long as you like and get to know all the ladies who love to eat out of your hand and they actually make a noise like a cat purring....wonderful experience...I loved every minute of my stay and have some great pictures of Matilda eating from my hands.

This is a great opportunity to get eye close to giraffes where you are able to feed them. You do not need to buy their food, it is giving to you for free. Very safe even for children, thre is no way you could get hurt while feeding the giraffes. Also you can take great pictures with them.
As in all Kenya, locals are so wondeful.

We loved feeding the giraffes - you can get up so close to them. We also listened to a talk about the giraffes which was very interesting and informative.

A chance to get up close and personal with the giraffe, one of the most ridiculous, beautiful and graceful creatures on this earth. You can hand feed them but it is discouraged to pat them as they are wild. The handlers there are very friendly and are happy to answer any questions you may have and have plenty of giraffe feed. The thing to do here is put the feed on your face to have it licked off by a giraffe, which is quite safe because their saliva acts as a disinfectant. I didn't do this; I was happy to just have my hand slobbered over. I also saw three pumbaa (warthog) in the park up close. Overall a great experience. I would recommend families enjoy this one too.
