a very samll place..I saw 3 giraff. Be honest, there's nothing can attract me really after a safari game. But if you only stop in Narobi for a couple days and not planning for a safari trip then it's a place worth to go.

“Okay”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 19, 2012

You get to feed and kiss a Rotschild giraffe which makes it worthwhile but the information about these animals is slight and the nature walk is boring.

If you are lucky enough to stay at Giraffe Manor there is not much point in coming over unless you need tacky souvenits from the gift shop.

“AFEW Giraffe Centre - Het Giraffen opvang centrum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 15, 2012

Nice place, well kept.
Friendly staff who assists with the food and was very helpfull showing the kids how to feed the giraffes.
Great Experience all around.
Oh, and they have a very nice giftshop too!

Erg leuke ervaring.
Vriendelijk personeel, wat hielp om de kinderen te laten zien hoe je de giraffen kon voeren.
Ook een leuke souveniershop & een café.

“Feed the Giraffes”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

This is another do not miss site...there are several kinds of giraffes here (warhogs, too) that you can feed, pat and observe. Rangers on the site are available to give a brief lecture on the centre, give more information about the animals and show you a leg bone.

“I kissed a giraffe!”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 13, 2012

This centre was an absolute delight! I had never been so close to these beautiful creatures. The guides were very informative and there was a short video about giraffes, as well as a small interpretive centre, showing pictures of the different species. We were given nuts to feed them and shown how to hold a nut in your mouth for the giraffe to take! They were very gentle. Our friends had small children who just adored the experience. Well worth a visit!
