“Convenient and reasonably priced.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 27, 2013

Whilst staying at the Eka hotel we decided to get a bite to eat and decided to go here as we didn't need to make a reservation. I was surprised to see others said it got busy since it was empty when we visited but it was midweek.
The food and drink are as expected and the portions are generous, my husband really enjoyed the ribs and buffalo wings. It was reasonably priced and staff were attentive.

“Good burgers! :)”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 22, 2013

This is a new comer to Nairobi. Yes, it is SA chain restaurant and specialised in burgers and BBQ as you know! It is located in one of the newest hotel on Mombasa Rd and if you go to this restaurant from town of Nairobi, you head to the airport (JKIA) and you have to make a U-Turn on the Mombasa Rd. Atomosphere is good, staff are good, service is good for Nairobi!
I had a cheese burger with chips and onion rings. Burger was very good, meat was well grilled and the quality of the beef was very good for Nairobi. I enjoyed it very much. Chips were good, nothing special, I can make good chips at home as well! :) Onion rings were not good at all! Since in Kenya, you cannot have good round "big" onions, so the rings were very sad! Not that you can have it at Tony Rome's! :( However, price was not so bad. It was 800ksh, about 8.5USD. It is pretty good for this price and quality of the meat. I definetly go back for some other dishes near future. I recommend.

“As Expected”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 15, 2013

this is part a South African chain and the food is as expected. The beer is cheaper than the hotel and they have a nice bar upstairs that has several TV's for sports fans.
Staff are helpful and friendly .

“Thursday Night”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 12, 2013

Popular amongst Kenyans although its what i would expect being a South African. Typical Spur family restaurant but for some reason the locals love this place and they go big on Thursday nights for the east as much as you like ribs. Be sure to make a revervation, it gets pretty packed and you might find yourself waitng for more than 30 minutes to get a table, specifically Thursday nights
