The restaurant looked deserted with the waiter having no clue what the menu entailed. The food was undercooked accompanied with some fish that looked like and tasted like it had stayed frozen for too long. We complained to the owner/manager who was very rude and insisted that there was a probability that we had never tasted Spanish cuisine. That was the last straw and I vowed to spread the word about this horrible restaurant that lacks customer care. We settled our bill which was overpriced and not justified at all as we had hardly touched the food.

We went on a Tuesday night, there were two other tables only - the place is very basic in décor and lacks atmosphere.
We asked to see the wine menu and the waiter explained they had a shortage of wine and brought the 4 bottles available. We asked for Sangria and were told it was not available as the wine used for this was not available!
The waiter tried his best but was obviously not trained properly.
The tapas are exceptionally small and not that good! Prawns were average and the goats cheese was a very small slice of goats cheese on bread with an awful lot of onions! The cold meats were nice.
2 of our party ordered the steak, they were not asked how they would like it cooked, seems it just arrives as the chef chooses. The other dish ordered was the beef escalope which was battered, the meat was very tough and the batter soft and tasteless.
All main courses arrived cold so we sent them back and the same plates arrived back a few minutes later with the food slightly warm but as the plates were cold meant that within a short time the food was cold.
For what we received I found the bill very overpriced even by Nairobi standards - there are many restaurants in Nairobi where you would pay the same for an excellent meal.
I will not be going back!

The food is not authentic at all. We ordered chorizo with lentils and chorizo with potatoes and in both cases, there was no chorizo! They also tried to charge us for delivery within Westlands (actually just down the street) despite advertising free delivery in this area.

The place is so welcoming great staff! Loved the calamari! Also generous with food. Had more than enough. The environment is so serene with a forest close by. I would definitely go back.

My husband and I have been considering a trip to Spain in the spring so we decided to get a taste of Spanish food so as to known what to expect and how to order once we get there. This being more or less the only authentic Spanish restaurant in Nairobi on "eat out" we decided to have lunch there yesterday.
It was not to hard to find the restaurant although it is in the heart of Springvalley which we are not too familiar with however on arrival the exterior compound looked like an abandoned home which really made me question all the reviews that had stated that the decor was fantastic and Spanish. No one directed us inside, we found our own way in and when we got there (1.30pm) there was no receptionist, no host and no waiters. The place looked deserted. The inside had a poor attempt at Spanish Decor. After standing in the main dining area for about 10 minutes we seated ourselves and a waitress came by (no apologies).
The waitress ( Joyce) was not at all informative of the menu and its content even though we told her that it was our first time in that restaurant and first time eating Spanish food. We decided to have 4 Tapas and then share a mixed Seafood Paella. Our drinks came immediately accompanied by a complementary little cube of Spanish omlette that was cold , had too much potato and tasted dreadful, however after waiting for 45 minutes, non of the Tapas had arrived!! We inquired from the waitress who then brought over one of the Tapas and said she would bring the rest as they got ready! The first was Ham croquettes which were delicious and a good portion size but the rest were cold, undercooked, very small (one skewer!!) and tasted awful! Why were they cold if they came 1 hour after we ordered them??? The Paella , i believe , was cooked as it should be however the portion was ridiculously small for KES 1400, and was filled with some smoked fish. It was a seafood Paella and it had 1 piece of shrimp!! I did not enjoy the Paella but that is my own preference, someone else would probably have found it delicious.
The staff had no apologies for their ridiculous delays and poor service. The food was overpriced, potions minimal. Whoever says this is a good restaurant definitely does not get out much. I would not recommend it to anyone.
