“A delicious taste of Spain”
Reviewed July 21, 2013

The food is really good - we loved in particular the meat and the home-made bread - the place is nice and the staff very friendly. I am sorry that the restaurant was almost empty, but I don't understand why because we had such a good dinner tonight, and the dishes weren't too expensive at all!

“"Always perfect"”
Reviewed July 1, 2013

I have been there many times, with family, with friends... and I have never been disappointed. Not only the food is good but the service is excellent. It is a good opportunity for tasting good spanish wine recomended by an expert in wines who can advise you in the best wine match to your food. Highly recomended!

“Slow service, small portions, high prices!”
Reviewed May 28, 2013

Totally disapointing, they have great location, good scenic view good environment, but service is terrible!! They took very long to serve us a paella that came cold, theymixed my order brought something we didn't ask for. The serving portions are small but the prices are high. Not going there anymore! I have asked other friends that went there if they will return and all said a conclusive NO! I'm sorry, hope they improve and get other first visits with better impresion!

“Lovely addition to the Nairobi scene”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Had dinner at La mesa with friends last night. They were super nice about the fact we got stuck in traffic and were nearly an hour late! The food was really lovely - we just shared a variety of different tapas items, and the sangria was great! The service was really good - which is not a thing to be sniffed at in this city! It was also surprisingly good value for money, also increasingly a thing not to be sniffed at when going to proper restaurants in this city....

Overall I would recommend this to anyone, we will definitely be back.

“Very nice ambience, service, place has a lot of potential”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

Visited this lovely restaurant with a friend. Though getting there is tricky especially when using the Waiyaki Way by pass still under construction, all that was forgotten once past the gates.
We were received well. We were served by knowledgable wait staff. Was very impressed that they serve Voss water!
The starters, presented beautifully and the wait staff even gave us pointers on what to chose.we settled for the mushroom croquettes and empanadas Gallega with meat and pepper which we enjoyed.
The paella de marisco was also good. The sirloin steak nice. They probably need to work on their seasoning because we had to add to the meal.
The restaurant has a lot of potential, they should just work at improving on everything day by day. We will return and hopefully get some changes
