When you think of going out in Westlands, you imagine the chaos of dodging loud matatus, and bright lights everywhere. However, once you enter Tamambo Bar and Grill at the Mall, you are filled with such serenity and the greatest ambiance in contrast to the outside world! Firstly, you are welcomed by the most jovial faces, full of courtesy not seen in any other restaurant, anywhere! Secondly, the service is perfect and in sync. From the appetizer to the dessert, you feel like you are being treated like royalty! No delays between meals! The Queen Prawns just melt in your mouth, the butter gently oozing with each bite! The small dessert pastries which consist of several varieties of cakes, just cup the dining experience altogether! For someone who was in her third trimester, and had not managed to put any "decent" meal down for a lu only turn 30 once in a lifetime, and it turned out to be the ong while, the food made the experience all the more worthwhile, as yobest birthday ever!

Tamambo is great for kids! Not because they have a fancy playground, they don't.. It's the staff!! I've never met a friendlier crew who loved by gregarious ones, enjoyed their play and joked and laughed with them. Will go back again and again. Oh and the menu's great too!

Good food in a great atmosphere! This is owned by the people who own the Carnivore.

Go for Kilifi (raw) and Mambrui (gratineed) oysters. And, the spare ribs. Good offers of South African wines.
