It was a step of faith to completely trust the Internet when engaging someone in a third world country, but we found that Mr. Anderson Kenga, owner of ARLOM KENYA SAFARIS, was not only a family man, but a man of integrity in keeping his word. Whereas other companies we contacted did not reply promptly, he was punctual in every aspect - a nice gentleman. He was always punctual in our 5-day relationship while he guided us in THREE of Kenya's national parks. He was thoroughly knowledgeable about the animals, their habits, & their habitat. Other safari guides seemed to step aside to allow him (& us!) privileges as they considered him a senior guide, and we were even upgraded at one safari lodge just because of Anderson Kenga! Our safari was a wonderful educational experience & our pleasure to deal with arlomkenyasafaris.com. We HIGHLY recommend Arlom to everybody for a great safari!

GREAT! So close to the city yet so far. Clean air and wild animals minutes from city center! Truly amazing. Despite some inconsiderate other visitors who throw trash out the windows of their vehicles and others who GET OUT OF THEIR Vehicles along the road tracks which is forbidden. The Park is amazing. Recent roadworks have frightened some wildlife to other parts of the park, overall it is well run and worth a visit and then return visits!

You can thry these three attractions in one full day and still have some free time to visit the elephant orphanage.

In case you don't have time to go to the country on a Safari trip you can always try this place which is a condensed version of an actual safari. The main access can be messy when there is a lot of traffic.

We spent half a day as it was the most accessible park during our 2 day stay at Nairobi.
We were not expecting to see the big four here, having read about it before, but there still are quite a few animals including the lions, giraffes and leopards. We saw giraffes (easy) and the usual wildebeest, Ostrich, deers, many birds etc. Then the highlight was sighting a lion resting in the grass and later a lucky encounter with a lioness with a fresh kill on our trip. The latter more than made up for a memorable safari. Now we are planning a more serious one to Masai and Tsavo NP.
