“Very disappointed”
2 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 15, 2013

We lunched at the restaurant on 25/01/2013 with travelling companions at the end of a safari and were very disappointed especially by the service which I guess spoilt the event.
It felt as if we were not really welcome there possibly because of the presence of more important guests such as UN officials and diplomats.
Menu selection was poor and food quality not up to expectations.

Do not miss The Lord Erroll restaurant. From waterfalls, to crested cranes walking about, hanging lanterns, and friendly service, The Lord Erroll is a delightful niche escape. I love it.

“New heaven on earth”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 11, 2012

The able serenity, parking lot enough and spacious, timely and service of high quality and the garden is nurtured well. The short distance to the American embassy and the famous Runda estate. The place is so nice..a river very close to the hotel wow! what a place to be!

Had a meal there years ago. Food amazingly delicious! Mouth watering! ... EXPENSIVE; but worth every penny!

“Great Food, Wonderful Setting”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 5, 2012

This reataurant situated in the suburb of Runda in Nairobi is set in beautiful gardens, which play host to a number of birds including the Crowned Crane. There are seating options either inside or on the verandah, which runs almost right around the premises and which affords wonderful views of the gardens. The staff are attentive and friendly and the menu is fairly extensive, with a variety of dishes that should suit most tastes, including a menu for the kids. Prices are comparable to other restaurants in Nairobi, but beats them hands down for the setting alone. The only thing to bear in mind is that the service can be a little slow, so don't go there if you are in a hurry. Rather go when time is irrelevant and you can soak up the ambience.
