“Kenya Safari - Lovely Kenya”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 28, 2014

I been now the second time in Kenya and enjoyed again the perfect service from Australken Tours & Travel Ltd. in Nairobi.
It is always a very good experience and feeling to be perfectly served by this company.

We been this time in Nakuru and Masai Mara.
Our tour started from Nairobi and we did a nice trip to Nakuru, not missing the overwhelming view down to the Rift Valley on the way.
After arival and a nice lunch we did our first game view. Just lovely, a nice mix of forest and plain area with rhinos, buffalo, zebra, flamingo, baboon, lots of birds and much much more. A good starting point to fall in love to the African wildlife.
The driver was perfect in handling our wishes and advising us how to get the best out of our trip.
We could not have asked for more, thanks a lot.
Sarova Lion Hill Lodge, the place we been for this night, is a properly location to relax with a nice sunset view and excelent buffet lunch.
Next day we went to Masai Mara, already spoiled by Nakuru but now even more impressed.
I read quite a lot about Masai Mara and we can just agree, a wonderfull place on this planet.
Wildlife in plenty and not so much crowded at the moment.
The ones who love to see the big African animals like elephant, giraffe, gnu, buffalo and of course also the carnivore, at first the lion, leopard and cheetah, but also hyena and jackal will be spoiled there. Of course it is always a bit of luck to see all of them, but the chances are quite high.
And I can tell you, we been spoiled ;-)
I guess luck, but also our safari driver was responsible for that.
One point at the end, Zippy our tour manager did a very special extra for us, we looked forward for a quiet and more private place to stay, not the usual big and crowded lodges with this big groups.
I think she found the perfect place, no I do not think I know it was the perfect place.
There is a very nice and absolut new tentet camp there (if I am not wrong about 1 year) , the name is Osero Lodge. Run by a Kenyan family (I like alway on my tours to support local companys) and this is done perfect. We feeled alway most welcome and thanks to Lilly, you made our time just perfect.
Next time, hope at the end of this year, we will come back to Kenya and of course to Australken.
Many thanks to Australken.

“Very Professional Agent”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 1, 2014

We have been traveling in Kenya for 5 years. This time we decided to try a tour agent this is how we reached Australken. We have booked with them for 2 trips, 1 to Naivasha and the other to Masai Mara. Since the early communications, the clarity and transparency in reservations and the flexibility in offer modifications showed a high sense of professionalism, Zippy is very understanding and ready with many solutions that suits changing and undetermined needs. On the execution, we found exactly what we booked for and in some cases more than what we booked for. The guide, Simon is very experienced, well trained and ready to help. Our experience is an eye opener on how we could save a lot of effort just contact Australken again.

“Thanks for this amazing trip!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 6, 2014 via mobile

Last week we went on a 4 day safari to Lake Nakuru, Lake Naivasha and Masai Mara with Australken. First of all we want to thank our guide and driver Symon for this great experience. He is an excellent guide who knows everything about the animals we saw and he was very patient with all our questions. Also the food was great - thanks to Daniel, we always enjoyed the very good meals he prepared for us.
Prior to the booking, we experienced a very good email contact with Zippy, she gave us a warm welcome and picked us up from the airport for free, everything was just perfect.
We were so happy that we chose Australken and they definitely deserve more excellent reviews on Tripadvisor.

Thank nop1

“Safari of a lifetime”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2014

October 2013 we had the safari of a lifetime with Australken! Zippy provided us a customized trip of seven days to Masai Mara, Lake Nakura, Lake Navaisha, Hell’s Gate and Amboseli. It’s was a budget private safari with high quality. The accommodation was in bungalows with private bathroom (no tents). The vehicle was a landrover and not a van. The guide Simon was the best; he knew so much about the animals, culture and politics. You could ask him anything. He was very patient and stayed with us in the park as long as we liked. The cook Daniel provided us very good and diverse meals. Australken arranged a pick up form Nairobi airport and drop off at the Tanzanian border. In Arusha we received a textmessage from Zippy that we forgot our tripod on the landrover, but that they will sent it for us to Arusha. This is Australken; very friendly staff and good service. I highly recommend Australken!!!

We had such a great safaritrip with Australken! The communication with Zippy was excellent, and everything went as planned. Our guide Daniël was very nice and could answer every single question we had about the plants and animals we saw during our safari. Our cook John made
