The less formal of the 2 restaurants at the Norfolk. A good menu (lamb curry excellent as was the Nile Perch) and friendly staff

The breakfast gave so much choice that it becomes a little overwhelming but this is only if you do not have a big appetite. Service here is quite classic and friendly. There is everything for everyone, and having someone in front of you making your omelet while you wait is quite a treat.

The restaurant is large and airy, with different stations set up around the room. We enjoyed the many options offered, especially the fresh tropical fruits and the English breakfast foods. Great Kenyan coffee!

Had a lunch with friends. Entry ok. Good valet parking service. The Lord Delamare terrace was not much of a terrace - facing the street so we decided to have lunch in the terrace facing the garden instead.
A bit slow service - 2 of us got our food - but the 3rd had to wait 10 more minutes - some mistake in the kitchen.
My shrimp springrolls had not much of shrimp and the chicken mushroom broath was not warm enough - and tasteless. So no. I will not return here.
But the vslet parking guys were nice.

Dear Hans L,
Thank you for your sincere feedback on our food and service. My apologies it has taken quite a bit of time to respond but we really appreciate.
We are glad to know you liked our valet services.
However, we can tell you were dissatisfied with both food and service at the restaurant. So far we have made steps to rectify our errors and we assure you that next time you visit our restaurant, you shall get the best we can offer.

Warm Regards,

Fred Nyangwe

We entered an empty dining room and was met by a charming girl named Elizabeth. My husband had broken his reading glasses and I mentioned that and she said pick any table you like. We selected one in the middle. Peter was our server and he was anxious to make our evening memorable. I was scouting the menu and stopped in the Asian section. I said I was very hungry and wanted something amazing. He recommended one of the house specialties with chicken. I agreed and this lovely plate arrived. I said this better be good with a smile. He said the chef said it was fit for a Queen. I smiled. My first bite melted in my mouth. I took a second and it was equally divine. I usually share my dinner with my mate but said he would not be getting any of this. I gave him one bite and he too agreed it was stupendous. Peter came back to check in and I said to please give my complements to the chef. As a matter of fact I would like to speak to him personally. Chef David appeared at our table with a beautiful white jacket and big smile to match. David has work at the Terrace of 10 years and had never been asked to come to a customers table. After copious complements he was blushing. He deserved every word of praise. Simon and Jean came to check in on us after hearing about the room fiasco. Truly an evening to remember with lovely staff and service. Thank you to each and everyone of you.
