We made quite a few enquiries with various companies before deciding on Natural World.Humphrey responded promptly to our e-mails and questions and the price quoted for our 6 day 5 night safari was very competitive.George our driver/guide met us at Nairobi airport and took us on a tour of Nairobi including Sheldrick elephant orphanage,Giraffe trust and Karen Blixen museum which Humphrey organised at reasonable cost. The next day George took us to Masai Mara at the start of our safari which also included Lake Nakura,Amboseli and Tsavo West before dropping us at our hotel in Mombasa. We covered a lot of mileage but was well worth it.We saw lots of wildlife, including the Big 5.We were very pleased with what we saw and also the lodges we stayed at which were Mara Serena,Lion Hill Sarova in Nakuru,Ol Tukai in Amboseli ang Kilaguni Serena in Tsavo West. There were just the 2 of us in a 4wd van with roof lift ,which we found to be fine.George was a lovely man,an excellent guide and importantly a safe, considerate driver. We were sorry to bid him goodbye to him as we had a wonderful time.[My wife even had a tear in her eye].After a 15 day stay in Mombasa,Humphrey arranged our transfer to the airport ,again at a reasonable price. We were very impressed with the professionalism of the company both in the planning stage and the actual safari. We shall definitely recommend Natural World and our thanks again go to Humphrey and his staff and of course to George.

I booked a weeks safari with this company and was apprehensive as my first trip to Africa. However they were great. Everything was excellent! accommodation they booked ofr us was excellent and our safari guide Chris was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble and he went out of his way to ensure we had a fantastic safari experience.
We used them to arrange transport after the safari (train on to Mombasa - not for the faint hearted!) and a car to drive us back to Nairobi. All of this was arranged without a hitch and they were even there to pick us up from the train in Mombasa despite the train being 7 hours late!
I would recommend them to anyone planning a safari in Kenya. Humphrey is so helpful in planning your trip to ensure you have the trip of a life time.

Our amazing journey began months before our June 13-29th trip to Kenya. In looking for a safari company, we were very frustrated, as very few of the big name companies list their prices. We stumbled upon Natural World Safaris and were delighted to find great detail in the choice of safaris and the listed prices. Humphrey did a fabulous job of helping us to plan our two safaris- one was the 4 day safari to Tsavo East and West and Amboseli, and the second was a fly-in 3 day safari to the Masai Mara. We travelled with our adult daughter and son-in-law. We opted to have our own private safari, so there were only just us 4 in our safari vehicle. It was perfect! We were in a van, with a lift up roof. We had great visibility, yet protection at the same time, and lots of mobility to move within the van for pictures. I highly recommend your own vehicle! We were able to choose what dates we left on the safaris, to fit into the type of holiday we wanted. We had a home base of the Royal Reserve Safari and Beach Club just outside of Mombasa. It was an ideal situation, as we had a few days to relax and enjoy the resort prior to setting off on our first safari, then had 2 or 3 days back at the resort between safaris, and 2 days at the end before we left for home. I think we would have found 2 weeks of solid safaris too tiring and we would have missed seeing a lot of the Kenyan culture that we were able to be part of on our days off of safari. We arranged day tours of Mombasa and surrounding area on those days off. Our safari drivers were Chris first, then Moses and they were fabulous! They were so very knowledgeable, friendly, yet professional. We felt entirely safe with them and so very well cared for. We stayed in the Ziwani tented camp in Tsavo West, the Amboseli lodge in Amboseli, and the Voi Safari Lodge of Tsavo East. All were very comfortable and I would highly recommend any of them. I was particularly taken with the Voi Safari lodge, as it overlooks an elephant watering hole, and being an avid elephant lover, you literally could be face to face with the elephants- truly a bucket list experience for me! The food was excellent! My husband is celiac, so we were a little concerned about gluten free food being available, but it was a non-issue. They knew exactly what he needed and he had no problems. I also require a C-PAP breathing machine, as I have sleep apnea, and Humphrey arranged with the lodges that we stayed at, who sometimes shut off the electricity through the night, to keep it on all night, so I could use my machine. They were most accommodating. Humphrey kept in close touch with the drivers, and periodically would speak with us on the phone, to ensure that we were enjoying ourselves and satisfied with everything. Humphrey also arranged transport for us to and from our resort, and that driver, Dominique was also excellent- very friendly and knowledgeable about the city and so willing to share that info. and take us wherever we needed to go. The drivers were always on time, and never left us alone, until they were sure we were safely in the care of someone else, or on the plane home. We never felt uneasy or anxious. I would strongly suggest going just before the busy season starts (July 1) because some of the magic of the lodges was they were not terribly busy and everything was very peaceful. Apparently things can get very busy in high season. I would highly recommend Humphrey and the Natural World safari tours for anyone going to Kenya. You won't be disappointed! Thank you Humphrey and team, for giving us the amazing experience of a lifetime!

They are a professional and experienced safari agent, owning tons of viecles and jeeps. They arrange lodging and safari in a very professional way.

Our Safari was very successful. We ran all the "Big Five" (lions, elephants, leopards, rhino and buffalos) and experienced animal migrations. Can't expect more.

Our guide was professional but not totally satisfying. One thing we are not very satisfied with him was that he proposed to change agenda to shrink number of Safari game drives. He didn't do that after communicating with us but still we didn't feel very well. Also he sometiimes finished game drive one hour earlier than he claimed to us the day before. Nobody forced him to tell us the morning drive should be 4.5 hours but if you told us it was 4.5 hours but ending up to be 3.5 hours, it disappointed us. Also, the guide was good at networking with other Safari drivers but might not be very good at animals by himself. Since finding animals is collective efforts of all the Safari guides in Kenya national parks, it didn't prevent us from seeing lots of great animals, but no animals hidden in bushes or in the trees were found by him.

Luckily, none of those impacts us Safari experience.

Natural World have recently moved their main office to Nairobi where we met the manager Humphrey Ndara at the beginning of our trip. The truth is that I was originally a bit nervous about the whole thing including wiring money to an account in Mombasa but I really should not have worried, this is an excellent operation. My wife was quite picky about some of the details and Humphrey took care of everything to organize a perfect trip. We went to Lake Nakuru for one night (Sarova Lion Hill Lodge) and Maasai Mara for two nights (Sarova Mara Game Camp). Our driver/guide was Joseph, who was really excellent. He has a great ability to spot wildlife from a distance and to communicate and cooperate with other drivers to find out where there are interesting things to see which are always changing minute to minute, of course. And he is a really friendly and helpful guy with a lot of knowledge of the wildlife, scenery etc. We used a 4WD minibus, which I would recommend over a Land Cruiser, though it could get crowded with more than 3-4 people. There were only two of us. Before we went, I expected to just see herbivores eating and carnivores sleeping but we also saw a lot of other interesting animal behaviour, though what you see is partly luck. We saw most major species apart from hyenas including the endangered black rhinoceros and leopard. The former was largely luck and the latter Joseph's skill at spotting the leopard that others couldn't find once he'd heard one was in the area. I'd strongly recommend working with this company in planning your safari trip in Kenya.
