My friend and I were fortunate enough to go on the 4 Day Masai Mara and Lake Nakuru Safari in September. Wow!!! As promised we were briefed the night before the Safari on what to expect,and at 7am our Landcruiser was waiting to take us on our adventure.

The trip to Masai Mara was great, and we arrived to welcoming drinks at Sekanani Camp. What a beautiful tented camp, and Grace and her staff were great.

Before the crack of dawn on day 2 we were picked up to go on the Hot Air Balloon Safari followed by a delicious champagne breakfast in the bush. Wow. Wow. Wow!!!! What an unforgettable experience to float above all of the animals below. A HUGE bucket list tick!!! After that we went on amazing game drives and were fortunate to see the Big 5, and many other animals.The trip to the Masai Village was also very interesting.

Tony, our driver and guide was an absolute champion. He was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and took wonderful care of us.
After a restful night in the beautiful Camp we departed the next day to Lake Nakuru and spent the night in the amazing Flamingo Hill Tented Camp. What a treat!!

More amazing game drives and sightings followed. There was a herd of hundreds of buffalo and Rhino's which crossed the road right in front of us.

On the way backto Nairobi the following day, Tony recommended that we stop at Lake Navaisha for a boat trip. A wonderful experience to be up close to the hippo's and amazing birdlife. Truly back to nature...

Then back to the airport to come back home.......

What a wonderful Safari. All logistics and details were perfectly arranged by Monkey Adventures, And Tony went the extra mile to ensure we had an unforgettable experience.

This safari was incredible, we loved every part of it. Patrick, our guide, was so knowledgeable about all the animals, he was also really respectful of them. We saw so many amazing animals, to see them in their natural environment is just the best thing ever,Patrick was so good at spotting animals that we would not have seen! (like a Lion laying down by a bush and a Dik Dik in the bushes).
The accommodation we stayed in was great, especially Ol Moran campsite.
The process of booking the Safari was easy and communication was great. We did a lot of travelling from Nairobi to Masai and Lake Nakuru, but always felt very safe and very interesting seeing different landscapes and villages.
Would definitely recommend this company.
