Speed for lunch and the food was excellent. New prepared for service to be on African time but that's fine for a long, languid lunch. A wedding was also in progress and the garden is a perfect setting for it

Dear LongXuyen, So very happy to hear that you were pleased with your visit and found the food excellent though the service to be on African time, making your lunch long and languid. Thanks for checking us out and taking the time to share your feedback which has been passed to the team who always aim to provide the best of food and service and will be delighted to hear that they have succeeded. Many thanks for taking the time to review. Kind regards Geraldine

Was guided here by Sunbird Tours - our tour organisers. It was a special Easter lunch and boy, we feasted on the crabs and grills. A great variety of food covering African, Asian, European and Indian.
This was one of my greatest foodie moments.

We visited Tamambo just for the Queen Prawns (not the Piri Piri) - because it's soo delicious! The sauce is the crown of this portion and the coco-rise is the perfect match. A local beer or a crispy Chardonnay suites the dish well. Sea food has always been good here and next time I will go for the classic Lobster again..
The atmosphere is relaxed, yet nice and organized BUT the reserve time as this is no fast food restaurant.
Tnx to the always nice crew!

Went for weekend lunch.
The garden venue is so nice - plenty of shade and space - from other patrons if you need a quiet moment like i did!
Food portions are generous and priced on the high side.
Service really was excellent.
The place gets busy so go there to relax and enjoy!

When you are around Karen, in Nairobi, everything about the place talks of style & serenity. European houses all around you. Built in this ambience, Tamambo Karen Blixen is just the right place for a Sunday brunch or a weekend dinner.

The food is fresh, the wine is marvellous. Or sip a beer on a sunny noon.
The paintings & photo exhibition around you adds to the beauty of the place
My favourite pick is the way the barman serves the drink. He wears the tray around his neck (refer picture) and also the Cheese dips are served in shells. Nice!!!
