This little Bistro is a hidden gem in Nairobi, run by a friendly Belgian fellow. I have eaten here many times and there is nothing bad on the menu. Influence is Belgian/ French.
The restaurant is difficult to find but if you ask a discerning local they will know where it is.
Prices are reasonable

Alan Bobbe's has been around for years, albeit in three different locations. Now in its latest location, the food is still good. I do think the heavy french food thing is a little bit old fashioned but some would call it classic. It is all good quality and so a good meal is pretty much assured. The new location is a bit characterless but quite smart and swishy.

We went here for dinner after recommendations from our friends and family. The ambiance was quaint and I loved the ancient pieces of musical instruments diplayed, like the gramophone. The overall service was good and the waiters displayed knowledge of the menu. I must say though, the Steak was tough and nothing to write home about, my husband had a fish dish and said it was well done.....
