A well-known place of Nairobi centre.
The food is quite good, although expensive. For the price, we may expect more sophistication and renewal.
The wine list mostly contains expensive wines or at least no good value for money (compared to Europe).
The service is harassing and totally un-natural. If you like the American way of service, you'll feel like at home, otherwise you'll quickly feel upset by so much fake attention and smile.
The place is quite kitsch and noisy, it gets warmer when the pianist start playing (not everyday).
If you like Scotchs, don't ask for a Whisky (you'll receive a JB or Jack Danneels) but for a single malt; they have a better list (Lagavullin, Gragamore, Talisker,...) upstairs and will be keen to show you.
As a conclusion : it doesn't compare to any stared restaurant in Europe, but it is still one of the best choices for Nairobi.
And you'll get the opportunity to eat great crab dishes for an honest price (35$).
