Wifi was available in the rooms as well
Breakfast was nice on the roof, with a beautiful view of Nile river & Luxor temple.
They organized two days tour as well with reasonable price

I had spent great time there

Spent 3 nights here in December 2013. This lovely little hotel is i a great location across the road from the Luxor Temple, right in front of the lane with all the little tourists shops, and within walking distance of Karnak Temple, museums and the corniche where you can sail on tlh river. Breakfasts of the roof terrace is great, Alladin is a great host. Rooms are comfortable, would recommend this hotel.

I have great memories of this hotel and the staff there! They treated us like family. We loved this place so much that we made it our home base for all of our travels in Egypt. Travelled here in the summer of 2006

Room Tip: All the rooms here were well kept for what they are. They were simple and clean.

The first time my friends and I arrived in Luxor we looked at a few hotels and chose the Nefertiti... The second time, there wasn't a moments hesitation - we went straight to the Nefertiti!

The staff were extremely helpful, and their prices on tours and experiences could not be beaten (especially given the quality of said tours and experiences). The rooftop terrace with its view of the Luxor Temple was a lovely place to hang out in the evenings; the wifi was fast and reliable; and the food was delicious.

Room Tip: Get a room on the side above the entrance alleyway. The other side has a coffee shop downstairs and...

My husband, 11 year old daughter and I stayed a couple of nights at this hotel. The hotel is accessed via an alleyway which is in fact a restaurant for the hotel. The area is beautifully decked out in drapes and lovely furniture, a perfect welcoming to the hotel. The alleyway is named after the owner's grandfather who opened the restaurant many years ago. The hotel is on four floors, with the top floor being a rooftop restaurant with view over the opposite Luxor Temple, a corridor of Spinx's and the River Nile. As well well as being a perfect place for dinner (the temple is lit up until 9 pm), breakfast is also served here. We stayed in a triple en-suite room for E£220 including a large buffet breakfast. The room was not bad in size and the bathroom was clean. We had views above the restaurant alleyway and found it did not keep us awake at all.
We arrived at the hotel quite late from Aswan, but were glad to have booked ahead. We organised a trip for the next day. We paid E£400 for a car and English speaking Egyptology guide to take us to the west bank for the day, going to the Valley of the Kings (3 temples), Hatshepsut Temple, Medinet Habu and Colossi of Memnon. For the next day we paid E£300 for a tour of the west bank, with a car and guide, visiting Karnak Temple, Luxor Museum and Luxor Temple. In the afternoon, we paid the driver E£120 to take us into the desert to see an Pharaoh Eagle-Owl. The hotel can arrange this tour for anyone interested. The hotel also organised train tickets to Cairo. it is important to arrange this as early as possible, as there is a shortage of tickets, due to touts buying up many tickets. We had to buy seated tickets on the black market for Cairo to Aswan and also Luxor to Cairo. There is not that much difference between 1st and 2nd class. The food in the hotel was really good, with a great selection of mainly Egyptian food. We did venture out somewhere else once, but the food wasn't as good as the waiter became very drunk and fell over. There is a serious problem with touts in Luxor. Avoid the horse carriages, all they will do is take you straight to the souk (for spices at a huge price) and then on to the cheap shop on three floors (which is not in any cheaper area). We paid half price for using our room until 11 pm, which was worth it for us having an 11 year old with us. This was our favorite hotel in Egypt.

Room Tip: You might want to to ask for a view over the nile.

This hotel is just perfect for a stay in Luxor. Just down town, closed to the souk, closed to the ferry. The welcome is great. The terrasse ont he top of the hotel offers a pleasant and wonderfull view on the Nile and west bank. I strongly recommand this hotel for those reasons and fort he price which is acceptable.

We have just got back from an 11 night stay at the Nefertiti hotel, situated right opposite Luxor temple and the Nile with views of the West Bank and Theban hills. It is also in the souk, ideal for those who want to be right in the heart of things.
The rooms are compact and bijoux, but with an individual touch in each room. The bathrooms are basic but clean. At the end of the day, you are staying somewhere with a bit of character rather than a soulless 5* chain, and the price reflects this.
Breakfast was adequate, but where the place really excells is the restaurant, where we ate a lot and never had a bad meal.
Aladin, the owner is the most charming host, who will sit and chat about all manner of things. All the staff are friendly and welcoming and looked after us well.
I have stayed in many different places on my many trips to Luxor, but this is my new favourite and will not hesitiate to recommend it again.
I will be back!

Room Tip: We moved from the rooms overlooking Om Kalthom cafe to the room overlooking their own restaurant as...
