I prefered the Nobles tombs beacause I thought they were more interesting. The kings and Queens have similar gods, birds and stars etc.. in them all where as the nobels tell the stories of their lives. Well worth a visit

After being to the valley of the Kings the valley of the Nobles has little to offer in comparison. It's part of the trip to the Valley of the Kings but most tourists give it a miss due to the temperatures and the long day

Well preserved with amazing history....one of my favorites because of the detail. Some of the tombs are neat because they tell the history of their life when most tombs are all about the after life. This is a great place to visit.

There now new tombs to visit near and around the Nobles Valley, West bank, Luxor.

Amenemipet Tomb TT41 - Chief Steward of Amun - 19th Dyn.- Khokha. Ticket for this tomb is with Mena & Nakht tombs.

Amenemope Tomb TT148 - Third prophet of Amun - 20th Dyn. Dra Abu el-Naga. Ticket for this tomb is with Roy & Shuroy Tombs.

The whole area of the Nobles, Sheik Abd El Qurna, Khokha, Dra Abu El Naga and the Asasif are changing all the time with more and more tombs being opened to the public. It only ever gets better with every reason for tourists to come and explore.

Excellent drawings of Ramose's (the town governor and adviser to Amenophis IV Shiekh And al-Qurna) funeral processions in spectacular colours and intricate carving.
