We visited two very good tombs here. Again we were early in the day so NO other visitors and the tombs were in good condition.

Great to see but not much different to Valley of Kings, if short of time just see Valley of Kings. Make sure you take plenty of water to drink as can get hot with not much relief and take own toilet paper

This Valley is quite different from The Kings or Queens, as these Tombs were largely undisturbed over the centuries. The fact that much of the area was occupied by locals during the that time makes you wonder why the tombs were not found and sacked. They were not, and we are the better for it. This 'Valley' gives you a great view of the Nile River Valley and some idea of just how much land the Nile covered during its flood stage every year. Sept is Off Season and we were the only 3 people in this Valley that day. Sun protection and water are musts for this event, as there is a bit of a hike to see the open Tombs, but well worth it the investment!!

We hired a driver and private guide through Aladin tours and visited three sites in one morning: Habu Temple, Noblemen's Tombs and the Workers' Tombs. These sites are not part of the usual cruise itinerary so it was refreshing to get away from all the crowds.

The Noblemen's tomb was interesting but not as stunning as other sites we have seen. Maybe we were getting templed out at this point, but it didn't offer anything that we hadn't seen already. If you're wondering which temple to drop from your busy itinerary, this would make a good candidate.

Fantastic tombs with few visitors. Most organized tours do not stop here. Some of ther best tombs in all of Egypt. Menna tomb, exceptional, Nakht tomb exceptional (famous young musicians) Sennefer tomb exceptional. Rekhmira tomb exceptional for New Kingdom art. Ramose tomb exceptional quality reliefs.
