“Absolutely beautiful”
Reviewed January 20, 2013

While the tomb isn't the largest one you can see, the quality of the work is the best. Remember that these tombs were for and decorated by the artisans who worked on the royal tombs in the Valley of the Kings. Where those royal tombs had some rigid requirements for their decoration, they were more free to show more intimate and personal images in their own tombs. When you go into the tomb, you will see images that you have seen in numerous books and National Geographic shows, but you will see them in their context and how they relate to others. If this tomb is open when you visit Deir el Medina, make sure you see it.

“small but wonderful”
Reviewed January 14, 2013

This tomb is really small in size but you will really love it. You get in to have a look on scenes depicting everyday life in ancient Egypt and also gods and goddesses. The colours are still vivid and bright despite all theses long centuries, it can't be described, it must be seen ...

“Beautiful”

What a beautiful tomb. So small but one of the best that we saw in Luxor. Beautiful colours and scenes. A must see in the Valley of the Artist's.

“Deir el Medina Tombs - Everyday Life”
Reviewed January 1, 2013

Get an insight into the everyday life of an ancient Egyptian more like you and me... visit Deir el Medina and the tombs there, some of the themes recur in all tombs - whatever the rank of the person, but these tombs also depict the life of a 'commoner.

“Beautiful Paintings so much detail”
Reviewed December 18, 2012

Amazingly well preserved. A view into a daily life of a worker. The details in the paintings give the tomb such great character. I had seen these paintings in lots of books before but didn't realise they came from this tomb...Tomb guard was not helpful or polite but don't be put off. Very small, steep steps, but beautiful.
