What should be the most attractive area in Luxor - the waterfront, is unkempt, scruffy and there is constant hassle from the aggressive felucca and caleche owners. Plus it has dozens of empty cruise ships moored up all churning out filthy black diesel smoke - and the part of the corniche in front of the museum is a building site.
I hope the new Governor of Luxor gets his act together and tidies up this area and restricts the aggressive harrassment of tourists.
