“Quiet Respite”
Reviewed September 5, 2013

Luxor has so many attractions, from the tombs on the West Bank to the Temples of Luxor and Karnak, that a small museum would seem to pale in comparison. Yet, the Luxor Museum offers rare mummy specimens and detailed exhibits in a quiet, slow-paced environ away from the noise of the streets and the hawkers throughout this culturally rich city.

Fantastic museum for such a small place, with some absolutely exquisite pieces. Very modern and clean layout.

“A museum with something for everyone”
Reviewed August 7, 2013 via mobile

This museum is next to Luxor temple and is well worth a visit. There are lots of unusual and interesting artefacts in the museum especially the mummies and slippers of Tutankhamun and other surprises! All of the exhibits are explained in English and are well displayed.

This museum has been very well done. Its a welcome relief from the heat outside but great to see some of the relics close up.

“A true jem of Luxor”
Reviewed July 29, 2013

The museum's building, the presentation and the exhibits altogether comprise the best exposition to see in the whole country. It's awsome and fully deserve bothe time and the fare. I would come back some time... :)
