Hotel is located in downtown and also located to Ike the hotel rooms is lovely specially which see the nile staff is really friendly polite and with good standard
Restaurant is also very good located to the nile food is also very good

Luxor Holiday

This hotel has retains great charm and character. The Room at the rear had a superb view of the gardens from a large balcony. The 1884 Dining Room is excellent with a superb menu and wine list.
The staff are all most helpful.

Amazing gardens

Beautiful hotel full of history. Comfortable rooms and great food. The gardens and pool area is amazing and great location in the city.
Very clean and the bathrooms are beautiful. Staff are very friendly also.

Like staying in a history book

Grand hotels are just different. While not as filled with modern amenities and spaces of new "cookie cutter" hotels, they make up for it with a deep sense of history. For example, the corridor taken to the steps was as wide as those of two modern hotels. A small thing, I know, but it hearkens back to a slower-moving time. There are two highlights. The first is the breakfast. Wow! What a setting! What a delicious variety of dining options! The second are the incredibly beautiful grounds and pool in back. By all means, pack your swimsuit! Highly recommended, especially if you're open to experiences that aren't so package and uniform.

Quiet lunch by the pool

We weren't staying at the hotel, but we decided to stop by and take a look at the grounds and have lunch by the pool. Lunch was great. I had steamed vegetables and my partner had chicken dish that came with steamed vegetables and rice. A basket of bread was provided as well. I highly recommend having lunch by the pool with the gardens and palm trees surrounding you. It's absolutely tranquil and beautiful! Afterwards, we walked around the gardens and sat on white cushion chairs. If you find these chairs and they're in the shade, take a few minutes, sit back, close your eyes and enjoy the quiet.
