“Unique and Enchanting Surroundings”

A TRIP To Egypt just happened though we had been planning it for a long time. Since we went through a travel agent, we did not have to bother about reservations and what we got has left an indelible mark and we shall always recommend it to anyone who goes there. The majestic entrance ushered us into an ultimate world of luxury, immaculately well-maintained ambiance and an enchanting huge pool. We loved being around it and the dip gave immense pleasure. It has lovely walks with palm trees swaying in the wind and beautifully designed lighting and bowers. Getting up early in the morning loved to go for a walk in its soothing and refreshing locale. The rooms are really comfy and relaxing. The food simply takes the cake and so does the hospitality. With ever smiling faces the staff is ready to help you at any odd time.Three cheers for the resort.May you see better and better times!

I only stayed at the Cataract Pyramids Resort for 3 days to see the Pyramids. The hotel was excellent, one of the cleanest hotels I have stayed in yet. Staff very friendly and helpful. Would definately stay there again. Pool very big, loads of sun beds. Room very big and bathroom big and very clean.
They do have spa but I did not have time to go.

You can see Pyramids from roof top, if would be nice if they had drinks/bar/food available on roof top so you could sit and relax there for a couple of hours in the sun.

Room Tip: really big resort, book a room with pool view and balcony.

My wife and I stayed in the hotel for a couple of nights for our first anniversary. The hotel greeted us with flowers in the room. The room was spacious with a nice view of the pool. The bed was cozy yet the pillows were not comfortable at all, we had to ask for smaller pillows.
The pool is nothing less than perfect. The staff are very nice , always smiling and ready to offer help at any time.
The food was good enough.
We were preparing ourselves for mosquito bites in the room, but we found the room to be supplied with an insect deterrent, which was a relief. Yet you must have your personal insect deterrent spray if you plan to spend time in the open air as mosquitoes can eat you alive.
If you are planning for a long stay at the hotel, I'd suggest you'd avoid Fridays if possible, as the hotel especially the pool area gets really crowded.
The TV channels are really limited, mainly local channels and the TV sets are quite old. We asked the room service department if they can get us a certain channel, their reply was positive. Yet throughout our stay, such demand was not fulfilled, we left them a note for that.
The hotel can make use of some renovation.
The hotel might not be the luxurious five star hotel, yet it is good for people seeking relaxation and peace of mind. It resembles any high quality four star hotel in Sharm el-sheikh, just without the sea view. I really forgot that I was only 30 min. away from home

I stayed at this hotel for 1 night. The resort looks very nice and has a great big pool. I thought there would be views of the Pyramids but if there are you have to really look for them, possible on the roof. My room was clean, with big comfortable beds. Could do with a bit of a refurb. The breakfast was average. I found the hotel staff were not particuarly helpful, the receptonist did not seem intereted. It was a hassle organising a taxi to the airport and the hotel car price was a rip off so I ended up getting a taxi from ouside the hotel. I spoke to one of the guys in the hotel shop and he was a great help, particuarly as I was a female traveling alone he gave great advise and actually seemed to care. I don't think I would return to this resort.

This hotel has a huge pool and a separate big babypool. the hotel needs some repairs and perhaps 20 years ago it was a fabulous place. I think since then they haven't done any mantainance and this is bad, because the hotel looks so nice. The rooms are big and comfortable but here the same, they tried to re-do the bathrooms but forgot the remove the cement they've spilled. But if you can see through all of this it is a good place to stay. Close to the pyramids. don't get fooled by their website saying there is a pyramids view ; yes there is on their dirty, dusty roof. ( could be nicely transferred into a cafe..) The breakfast buffet is well done, a lot of nice things to choose from, the restaurants are ok, nothing special. Staff is friendly especially the poolboys, they do their work with a smile!

I do not know what kind of training did Ms Magda Ibrahim at the front desk had taken. She is a real pain in the ... She is rude, ignorant, unpleasant, irresponsible and knows how to spoil your vacation. I am sure they trained her never to smile to a guest or else we'll fire you.
The pool guys are nice but they are sticky until you tip them.
This lady at the front desk will not take credit card and wanted me to pay cash, of course I had to insist on paying the full amount with credit card.
This reception lady must leave the front desk immediately, and never deal with guests face to face

Room Tip: Ask for a pool view
