historical building, really one of the 7 wonders and from my point of view its one of a kind, you can smeel history, you will feel so small and ignorant by only watching it! and you have to enter inside, you will feel amazed..advice, you will bend a lot so if you have a problem with your back preferably dont although its a great experience

“The great Pyramid”
Reviewed January 3, 2014

Don't travel anywhere in Cairo without a guide, We used Memphis tours, Book in the UK over live chat and tailored to our needs. Yes they all have friend for you to tip for getting a photo taken but that is part of the charm. You will be safe and the Memphis guides know you will be met somewhere on your tour by their Quality manager who likes to ask you if everything is OK.
No one is travelling to Cairo because of the media. We were fine and Terek our guide was fantastic, I have been twice before and he is the best so far.

“Breathtaking views but harassing locals”
Reviewed December 31, 2013

You must see this site - truly amazing - 80 ep to enter and an extra 200 ep if you want to go inside great pyramid. the inner journey should only be done be healthy people who don't mind the strenous climb. we found best way to get rid of locals is to just ignore them - it is hard not to say hello but once you do they will pester and follow you. also, oonce inside don't give your ticket to anyone -- the locals will ask but do not give them up, it is a scam!

It was incredible and no tourists. Our entire trip into the heart of the burial chamber saw only 2 other couples.

“Magnificent!!”
Reviewed December 19, 2013

Visiting the oldest, and the only one to remain largely intact, of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, was the best gift I could have given my mom before she passed away. We went in when things were relatively calm in Egypt with a tour group of mainly senior citizens so the pace was very relaxed. We had lots of time to pose in front of and climb the outer walls of the pyramids to experience how HUGE one boulder actually is! This is the largest of the 3 pyramids and of course the Sphinx is a must to visit as well.
