From 2006,2007,2008,2009 My dear and close friend and I while living in Cairo for our respective work and other activities choose Friday to be our Girls Getaway.
It was a tradition that we would get our hair done as Diva and spend time at LaRose Spa and the Hammam and then treat ourselves for brunch at Bella at the Four Seasons, then take a stroll through Garden City or watch the Sun Set on the Nile.
This year we came back to Egypt and to Cairo just to exactly what we have always love to do, Spa treatment followed by Brunch at the Four Seasons.
When we arrived in was Easter Sunday for Coptic Orthodox who follow the Eastern Calender, thus Bella was not offering the buffet but the their was a fantastic Easter Feast at Zitouni...
Everything you could possibly imagine from Grilled Meats, Lamb, Veal, Chicken, rices, salads, Seafoods including crab. I left room for my favourite Egyptian deserts Om Ali.
The service from the moment you walk on to the hotel property has always been incredibly and it is still exceptional.
Spring flowers were the centre pieces with my favourite spring flowers leaving a wonderful scent in the lobby.
The staff at the restaurant were impeccable. Low tables for our purses, beautiful table facing the Nile. Checking to see if were were enjoying our meal and if we wanted anything special.
Brunch at Bella for Italian food was always our favourite treat but this was definitely a treat.
Feeling a little home sick for my own mother celebrating Easter at home.. with many of the same dishes especially the rice with gloves and cinnamon and raisin .
Even if its just to treat yourself for tea or some lemonade its a great treat with a magnificent view.
We walked along the Corniche to watch the sunset and through Garden City
One of the most beautiful sites on earth is to watch the sun set on the Nile...
