“Really great!”
Reviewed June 20, 2013

Hubby and I visited this mosque earlier this year; we were very impressed I must say. It's so beautiful inside!! This should be part of anyone's visit to Cairo. They were not very friendly at the door, but I'm not very sensitive so my feelings weren’t hurt. After seeing this mosque from the inside, we walked outside and sat out in the lawn along with about 100 other people. There I got the chance to talk to local women and play with their little ones. It was an unforgettable moment for me; they were pretty curious of my husband and me and were super friendly. Great afternoon for us :)

Very welcoming place and very good view of the city below. You can see the Pyramids through the haze if you're lucky!
