It is a small local open air museum, that house very fiew pieces dated back to the new kingdom, mainly there is an alabaster sphinx as well as 2 other statues for Rameses II , therefore it do not need to make effort to go there , only if you are passing by and it is in your way it can be a nice stop to admire the second biggest sphinx in Egypt after the famous one of the pyramids, but if not then it is not a must to see

Nothing special visually impressive.

But there certainly are a smallish number of ancient Egyptian sculpture. What have their place in ancient Egyptian history, like almost everything in Egypt

Since there is little left of the old capital of Memphis, this museum shows some of it. Some statues, of which the colossal statues of Ramses II is a gem. Often included in the tours to Sakkara and/or Dahshur 30 min-60min will be just enough to give you an introduction to the old capital and its necropolis. Until the government decides to level the new city and excavate the area to un-earth the old city beneath (which would be very sad for the locals) this place might be skipped if being in a hurry.
