“Different than Giza's...”
Reviewed August 22, 2012

Believe that better to see this stepped pyramid before Giza's.
Especially need to pay attention to funerary complex.
They are whole design together with other architectural elements.
As this is smaller than the Giza it would be a better start.
It is some away from Cairo but worth to travel.

“Nice experience.”
Reviewed August 16, 2012

This is one of the main attractions of the Pharaohs culture. The pyramids, of course.
I think it's a standard attraction spot on any tourist's itinerary. And I think it is really, really worth the effort. Satisfaction guaranteed on this one.

“Amazing symbols of the ancient civilization”
Reviewed July 22, 2012

Memphis was once the capital of Egypt. It is still a nice place. Ramses's giant borken statue is laid on the floor, it is so big that it is very difficult to take the whole statue's picture by a compact camera.
When I was in the area of Sakkara, I became speechless to see it. I could not believe that I was in the front of that pyramid that was built about 5000 years ago. I just touched it to feel the ancient time.

In both places, you will find the people who work there. Do not ask them to take your photo, they will ask you to give tips (baksish in local language). Even they ask you to take your photo by giving them tips. So avoid them, and they will be away from you.
