“One of the best hotels I have ever stayed in!!!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 4, 2010

We stayed in this hotel the last night of our tour. Too bad we didn't stay here a couple of extra nights! The pool area looked so nice and we never saw it until the morning before we left but it certainly would have been a nice place to hang out for a little while. The hotel is beautiful, the service in the bar, restaurants, front desk, etc were all exceptional and close to the airport. The hotel is attached to a hugh mall so if you have nothing to do the mall is a great place to spend some time. The mall is so hugh it was hard to figure out your way around but we did manage to find our way back to the hotel. It is a little far from a lot of things in Cairo and the traffic is horrendous trying to get around but otherwise this would be my choice of places to stay!

Unfortunately we arrived here late at the end of our Eyptian tour/cruise (6 pm) and had to leave early (4 am) to catch our flight home. The hotel is huge but beautiful with a typical shopping mall attached. (We never did find the "bazaar" section of it.) Our room was basically an efficiency apartment with a small kitchen. There is a mirrored wall that slides to hid the kitchen. The room was clean and comfortable. None of our food on the trip was great but the buffet dinner here was probably the blandest; service was poor. The pool was absolutely spectacular in its design with tents and felucca accents. We didn't get to use it due to our late arrival and its being cleaned at that time. It was such a waste to only spend 10 hours in such luxury. Although it is close to the aiport, it is not right there as you would imagine and takes a little bit of time to get there, especially with traffic.

I stayed there and it was my 1st time in egypt, we were three and we booked a room it was really large and could be enough for four. Nice room, large, nice decorations, big bathroom, even the lobby is wonderful and the breakfast is fantastic, people and staff are friendly. The location is great, its just in a new mall in Cairo, one of the best malls. I never stayed anywere else in Cairo, but I think its the best !!

I spent five nights in the hotel. The service was very good yet i moved away the moment the business issue is over. Compared to a lower rate hotel on the same category, it is not advisable you go there. The location is not good unless you are into shopping centers.
I moved to Hilton Ramses in the same city with almost 50% of the cost but enjoyed staying there much better than this hotel.

I think my headline said it all. The room was wonderful, the lobby was impressive and it was very convenient to the airport, which we liked since we were flying out the next morning and the traffic in Cairo is a bear!

Caution! Bring earplugs! There's nothing anyone can do about it, but Cairo drivers use their horns more than they use their brakes. It is customary to honk as you pass another car since they disregard lane markings and consistently squeeze five lanes of traffic into a three lane street.

Also, I'm a bit put off by the way that they charge for water with the meals.

However, since the hotel is connected to the FABULOUS CityStars mall with hundreds of shops and dozens of restaurants (Everything from McDonalds, Chili's and the Rain Forest Cafe to Lebonese and local ethnic restaurants) it's easy to avoid the over priced hotel restaurants if you choose to.

It's not an easy drive to downtown Cairo or Old Cairo, but if you're zipping in or out of the airport, it's a great location.

P,S. ; Free internet! Always a star booster in my book!

I had heard about this hotel and the level of service from a friend during a visit with his family to Egypt during the summer for the first time in this country , it has left a great impression with the international hotel in this country with a long history. I had the same impression after I stayed in this hotel in the beauty and magnificence which made me recomending it to every body who asked me about my experience in this place and the level of superior service, which in my opinion not less than any finest hotels in Europe
