“Red and bend pyramids”
Reviewed August 3, 2013

Red pyramid is better than the Great pyramid. The corridor leading to burial chambers is loooong and low. Good workout for thights..

“I was the only one there.”
Reviewed July 4, 2013

Checked out the Bent pyramid and the Red pyramid. Both are very interesting and worth visiting. You can actually climb into the the center of the Red Pyramid. I did it but would probably not do it again. Great story about the building of the Bent Pyramid, plans had to change as construction went along. The steep slops crumbled so the angle had to be reduced.

“Must-see”
Reviewed June 29, 2013

Just like the main pyramids in Giza, but with even fewer tourists and sales-people and just as impressive. Combine with Memphis and Sakkara for a great day out.

“Excellent”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

Unlike other pyramid this place you can have a closer experience. you are able to climb them and go inside the pyramids. It isn't as busy as the other more popular location combined with going inside them would make it a better experience. Go

“Quiet Reprieve - and climb inside!”
Reviewed June 24, 2013

If you want a "climb into a pyramid" experience, this is where to do it: the cost is included in your ticket (LE60) and it's an interesting chance. There are no intricate carvings, but some uniquely step-vaulted ceilings, and an opportunity to poke around. If you're tall - this may be back-bending and uncomfortable, but for the shorter people out there, it's easier going. There are no touts, and the site itself is generally quite quiet, allowing you opportunities for photos and for poking around and looking at the Red Pyramid - the Bent was closed for some work.
