Again, this confirms my suspicion that in Egypt it's best to stick to Egyptian food. This Caribbean-themed restaurant has a typical American "pool-side" menu with the word Kalik or Carib stuck onto everything. Kalik club sandwich? Same as a club sandwich. Saying the fettucine alfredo is Caribbean does not an island dish make. The food came more than an hour after we ordered it, despite the order consisting of mostly sandwiches; we were the only customers, so it's not like they were swamped. The food tasted decent, but not even really that flavorful. I'd have preferred the kebab shop around the corner.
