Good food, great service, but tired hotel rooms.
Would I stop here whilst on vacation? No!
Fine for business stop-over, but tired old hotel.
Nice clean sheets and as ever in Egypt, the bed was comfy.
Too many issues with cleanliness and electrical faults.

I spent two nights at the hotel on a short sightseeing stopover. I got a fantastic rate, including breakfast, and wasn't expecting too much. I e-mailed the hotel to find out about the free airport shuttle service; got a response within hours, and was met by a charming representative at the baggage claim, who really made my arrival and transfer easy! Check in was quick and efficient.

The room was adequate, with all required facilities. Thank heavens for the double glazed and soundproofed windows, as the hotel is a popular venue for very noisy parties and weddings that go on until the early hours! But the soundproofing was effective - just couldn't open the window. The hotel should be due for some refurbishment in the near future, but it is very clean and well maintained.

Breakfast was excellent, with a huge choice. I ate one evening at the Italian restaurant, which was also good, and reasonably priced.

All in all, an excellent experience, and very good value. I would certainly return there.

Stayed 1 night only, arriving without a reservation, paying rack rate and catching an early flight to Aswan. We had drinks at the bar and dinner in their outside "BBQ" restaurant. This was to be our first room, drinks and meal in Egypt. The room was adequate, barely a 3* - the lobby was much better. The bar was very busy with Brits enjoying pricy Stella which is what we did. A very comfortable bar. We opted to dine at the BBQ restaurant located just outside the main entrance of the hotel, and had some grilled lamb chops - all 2 ounces of them, with sides of rice and what appeared to be canned carrots (the vegie of the day). This food was tasteless and was priced higher than what we would pay at home for similar fare at an airport. The hotel was adequate for 1 night - within 10 minutes of the airport or less, hard to tell there was so much road construction).

I Feel Air condition system had very bad sound all the time. Even slow or high speed of fan reduces or increases the sound. I had no time to inform hotel staff to improve this.

We traveled with a group of 9 people consisting of adults and children and stayed 2 nights. The 3 rooms we had although a little tied but very comfortable and clean. Hotel staff all very friendly and helpful, breakfast and meals from the Italian restaurants of a high standard.

My husband and I stayed in a suite at this hotel. Everything was fine until my husband took me to the airport on the 10:30pm shuttle from the hotel. We told the driver that my husband would require a ride back in about 1 hour, driver said no problem just call. My husband called the hotel from the airport and was told 10 minutes, 45 minutes later and no shuttle. My husband had to walk from the airport to the hotel. Its not a far walk, but at night with construction going on and no sidewalks in a foreign country is not a good mix .

When he got back to the hotel and complained they apologized and said they would send us an email but notthing has happened and that was Sept 24/10. For the amount we paid for our suite and to get the crappy service my husband got after he took me to the airport, I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE

Has all the amenities for the weary trveller available at a reasonable price. Stay in an odd numbered room. as they are away from the pool/courtyad, where many LOUD weeddings take place. Theese are fun to watch if they do not ruin your sleep.
